The Church Council at New Beginnings UMC, Boiling Springs, SC has elected to not enter into the discernment process toward disaffiliation at this time. "It was determined that it is premature and irresponsible to even consider going through the process given the time constraints, financial obligations, and lack of knowledge. There has been a lot of speculation about what will happen at the General Conference in 2024, but honestly, we simply do not know the outcome and how that will impact local churches..." We will continue to focus our energies on creating a safe and welcoming place for all people to connect, belong, and experience the power of resurrection faith and fulfill our mission of "making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

Great preaching! The Spiritual and Christ-centered direction that New Beginnings UMC is projecting is one that individuals (of all ages) can get behind as they are inspired to serve Christ in their community and world.

It took us a year to find this church when we moved here and we’ve never looked back. The people in this church welcomed us and have become incredible friends. The outreach to the community is amazing as well. And with the excellent sermons, small groups and Bible studies we’ve grown so much in our faith. Everyone truly is welcomed here...just give it a try! B

This is my home church....they are very friendly and caring people...my family loves our minister....they have 2 service types...traditional at 8:30 and contemporary at 11:00....please bring your family and come visit us...see for yourself.
